چکیده

Introducción: Tooth development may be interrupted when the pulp becomes necrotic because of caries, trauma, or anatomical alterations such as dens evaginatus. Objective: To determine depth cure and hardness an injected bulk-fill resin (Sonic Fill™) compared with a flowable (Revolution™) in teeth incomplete apex formation.Material Methods: Forty recently extracted uniradicular were assigned for study; 3 mm was cut to standardize all 13 mm, then root canals instrumented size 1.10 by using Peeso drills. A 3-mm mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) plug placed apical third. After etching canal walls, intracanal adhesive system cured. Then, Sonic Fill™ into remainder 20 specimens randomly selected composite others. All rectangular, acrylic base sectioned along long axis tooth. The evaluated Vickers micro-hardness test Student T independent groups.Result: Specimens SF group showed significantly (p = 1.6 × 10−6) higher (24.03±4.09 Kp) I.C.95% [20.88- 27.19] than those Revolution™ (11.28±3.19 [8.82- 13.72].Conclusions: SonicFill™ microhardness flow able group, making former more suitable strengthening immature apexes.

fracture resistance of immature teeth filled with mineral trioxide aggregate or calcium-enriched mixture cement: an ex vivo study

background: the ability of mineral trioxide aggregate (mta) to strengthen the tooth structure has been studied with contradictory results, and there is a lack of data in the case of calciumenriched mixture (cem) cement as a novel endodontic biomaterial. the aim of the present study was to evaluate the reinforcing effect of mta and cem cement on simulated immature teeth. materials and methods: t...

Fracture resistance of immature teeth filled with mineral trioxide aggregate, bioaggregate, and biodentine.

OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study was to evaluate fracture resistance of teeth with immature apices treated with coronal placement of mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA), bioaggregate (BA), and Biodentine. MATERIALS AND METHODS Forty-one freshly extracted, single-rooted human premolar teeth were used for the study. At first, the root length was standardized to 9 mm. The crown-down technique wa...

Vital Pulpotomy in Primary Teeth with Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (mta)

Mortal pulpotomy is the most commonly used technique in Bulgaria for treatment of pulp chronic infections in primary teeth. Data from the special literature reveal another method for pulp treatment in primary teeth – vital pulpotomy associated with good adaptive healing response. During the past several years, special attention has been paid to Mineral Trioxide Aggregate -MTA as probable altern...

In-Vitro Evaluation of Microleakage of Class II Cavities Restored with Bulk-Fill Flowable Composite

Background and Aim: Composite placement poses many challenges, especially in the gingival floor with dentinal margins. Microleakage is one of the factors affecting the longevity of dental restorations. We aimed to compare the microleakage of cavities filled with bulk-fill composite at enamel and dentinal margins. Materials and Methods: In this experimental study, a total of 102 sound human pre...
